Our Story
Happy Scoop was born out of friendship, a love for dogs, and a desire to make life a little easier for the people who care for them.
We’re Seth and Ethan—lifelong best friends and proud dog dads. Like most pet owners, we adore our pups, but let’s be honest… scooping poop was never our favorite part. A few years ago, during one of our regular hangouts, we joked about how amazing it would be if someone else could handle the dirty work. That joke turned into a search—and to our surprise, we couldn’t find a reliable, caring, professional pooper scooper service in the Los Angeles area.
That’s when the idea for Happy Scoop was born.
We knew we weren’t the only ones juggling full lives—work, family, passions—while also trying to give our dogs the love and clean space they deserve. So we decided to build the very service we had been looking for: one that’s consistent, trustworthy, friendly, and truly passionate about dogs and the people who love them.

2. We reach out to Schedule Your 1st Cleanup
Once you sign up for services a Happy Scoop representative will reach out to schedule your cleanup and walk you through the entire process. We value our relationships with clients and are committed to providing exceptional service with every visit.
3. Check Customer Portal
Enjoy hassle-free service with your own customer portal, which allows you to set up automatic payments, keep track of invoices, and manage your service online. Receive text updates one hour before service and photos updates from our technicians.
4. Enjoy A Poop Free Yard!

Happy Scoop will clean any areas of your property that have dog waste issues, including front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, etc.
The safety of our clients and their dogs is a top priority at Happy Scoop. To ensure all dogs are safe, we clean all our equipment and shoes between each yard with a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs. We also take gate pictures when we are done cleaning so you know your pets won’t get out of the yard, and we ensure all our employees are background checked.
No contracts! You can start, pause, and cancel your subscription at any time by updating your customer portal or calling our office.
Proper disposal is essential to environmental safety as dog poop is considered a hazardous material. Each location is slightly different. At some locations, we will take the waste off your property and properly dispose of it with Waste Management. At other locations, we will double bag the waste and place it in customer’s trash can.
Yes, we love cleaning with dogs! We simply ask that if your dog has shown signs of aggression, you leave them inside during your cleaning. Ensuring the safety of our team is a top priority. If your dog is aggressive towards our team, you will be asked to put them inside or be completely removed from our route.
Yes, you can request a specific cleanup day. Not every cleanup day will be available in your area, but because of our size, we can generally offer 2-3 options to best fit your schedule.
